EXPO Rail is a train travel service offering travellers a unique experience when traveling in Sri Lanka. Our Client Paan Paan supplied Breakfast Packs full of delicious snacks to EXPO Rail travellers to enhance the journey.
Ketikatha was asked by Paan Paan to create a breakfast box for this purpose.
Why we created what we created:
Paan Paan, a new bakery making simply good bread was in their first year of operations in Colombo and needed to create a smart ‘neighbourhod baker’ image for their brand. So we decided to introduce Redeemable Coupons as part of the pack design in order to ensure EXPO Rail traveller would visit the outlet to try out the other bakery products. The Redeemable Coupons would generate more traffic and create a repeat purchase clientele.
As the train journey is a long one, we wanted to create a happy moment for the traveller while he or she enjoyed breakfast. Ketikatha designed a variety of pack surfaces featuring interesting reading material printed all over. This would make light and interesting reading in the morning while the travellers had breakfast. We also created an opportunity for our client to persuade the traveller to visit the bakery at a later date. There were ‘Chew on these bread facts’, ‘Bread Proverbs’, Funny Quotes and beautiful food images to all over the Paan Paan Breakfast Packs.
